Dr. Liz Latham, DHSc, MSN, FNP-BC. - Clinical Consultant

Dr. Latham began her career in health care in 1988 as a Registered Nurse (RN). In 1999 she completed her Master with certification as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN). Finally, in 2013 Dr. Latham completed her Doctorate in Health Science with an emphasis on organizational and clinical leadership. 

Dr. Latham has been working in Federally Qualified Community Health Centers since 1995. Her role has progressively expanded from RN to APRN to CEO for a rural/urban health center serving eight communities in Arizona. As a CEO, Dr. Latham successfully guided the center through financial recovery, while expanding services in both dental and behavioral health. Additionally, Dr. Latham efficaciously completed three capital campaigns resulting in two new facilities and one remodel.    

Dr. Latham has been working as an independent health care consultant since 2013. In that time, she has completed over 100 Operational Site Visits (OSV) in urban and rural areas. Dr. Latham has organizational experience in both administrative/governance and clinical oversight. Additionally, Dr. Latham has expertise with tribal and public entity organizations.

Dr. Latham is a creative and visionary leader with a reputation for integrity and the ability to influence results. Additionally, Dr. Latham has a strong reputation as leader in development and implementation of effective policies and procedures, strong collaborative ventures, and non-profit board of director, and clinical oversight for new and struggling FQHC’s. 

Dr. Latham is a seasoned organizational leader having attained significant experience through her FQHC roles. Dr. Latham has the skills to serve as a technical expert, or organizational advisor for any sized FQHC.
